I initially skipped this drama but due to rave reviews, I decided to give this a try. The whole drama was mediocre, but the chemistry between Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow was excellent. I fell in love with them as a couple because of UTCOL.
I don't remember much about this drama, other than Amy Kwok's character was Bosco Wong's child bride.
I don't really know what to write about first since TGOL was such a long drama (82 episodes!). In general, TGOL was good but it was too long. I think it would have been better if it was cut down in half (30-40 episodes would suffice) because some of the scenes and sub-plots were extremely boring and draggy. The character developments were great and the plot had its ups and downs, but the acting from this grand cast was terrific. To really enjoy this drama, one has to have patience since it does take awhile for problems and exciting things to build up. I thought the ending was nice and for the most part, TGOL was pretty realistic. TGOL is one of the better TVB grand productions, especially when compared to "The Drive of Life" and "The Dance of Passion".
FTL was interesting in the first half but it became so boring to watch in the second half. I also forced myself to finish this since I was attracted to Ron Ng.
I initially skipped this drama when it first came out but then rented it after a few years due to its popularity. AH is an okay "teenage-oriented" drama since the plot is pretty simple.
Everybody loves this drama but I didn't like it since I found it boring and draggy since it focused too much on the messy love relationships.
TLB is a very touching and inspiring drama about doctors with the right touch of romance.
I watched this because of the plot because I didn’t really like any of the cast besides Bosco Wong. It had potential but failed so miserably because of Kate Tsui and a somewhat draggy plot.
I really liked this in the beginning but it went downhill after a draggy plot and love relationships.
Everybody loves this drama and although it was funny, I didn’t think it was all that excellent. The sequel is definitely better.
A.K.A. Square Pegs II since it's the modern day sequel of Square Pegs. This is not as good as the first one since it's was draggy and boring in some scenes.
I was so excited to watch this drama but it was kind of a disappointment after I finished watching it since it was so boring in some scenes. Nevertheless, it was watchable because of Raymond Lam since his role was so complex because he's not the normal hero.
I was so excited to watch this since it pretty much has all the actors and actresses I like and I like dramas about gambling. This drama was good but it dragged in the middle and there weren't enough scenes about gambling. It was kind of a disappointment for me.
It has been awhile since I've seen this drama so I don't remember the plot and the characters well but it's okay since this drama was really bad. I don't even know why I watched this in the first place. I think it was mostly because of Bosco Wong and the plot sounded somewhat interesting.
I was so excited to watch this since I really love Kevin Cheng and Niki Chow as a couple! Bad ratings and reviews made me kind of disappointed since I really hoped that this will be a great drama, but I still enjoyed watching it nevertheless. The first few episodes were kind of slow and cliché but it got interesting in the middle and the end. I like how the story was told in a comic-style since it was something new, but I don't like the lighting in this because it made everything so blurry; the lighting was better fitted in "Under the Canopy of Love". I also didn't really like how Kevin and Niki's storyline didn't really connect with Bosco Wong and Natalie Tong's plot. However, it was a nice switch between the two stories. A lot of people didn't like how this was done since it felt like watching two different dramas and I kind of agree but I don't think I can watch any of the stories separately as two different dramas since it would of been extremely boring. For instance, watching just Kevin and Niki's story would have bored me to death if there weren't the comedic moments between Bosco and Natalie. On the other hand, just watching Bosco and Natalie's story would seem too ridiculous. Therefore, each plot balanced each other out: Kevin and Niki's was the serious and romantic one while Bosco and Natalie's was the funny and cute one. This drama is kind of underrated since I liked this one better than "Under the Canopy of Love" and the ending was nicely done.
I love this sequel more than the original (which is rare). This was more realistic and Liza Wang was not too annoying. I thought the original was overrated but too bad, this one is kind of underrated.
