Legend of the Demigods

LOTD is not the best fantasy/mythical drama but it was okay to watch once. There were some good/funny scenes but I thought LOTD was a lot better in the first half than the second half since it got draggy and repetitive with the whole good versus evil. The ending was also pretty weird even though it was a happy one. In addition, the CGIs were really bad and laughable but they got better as the drama progressed (or maybe it's because I just got used to them...?).

Linda Chung: I really like her hairstyle in here since she looked adorable! Her character was cute but sometimes it got annoying. Although this was filmed two years ago, I thought Linda was bearable and her acting improved. However, the sad part is, I thought she did a better job in here than in "Moonlight Resonance", which was filmed this year...does this mean that Linda is not improving as the years go by or it depends on the role/drama? 3***

Sunny Chan: I felt this role didn't bring out the best acting abilities from Sunny since he has a lot more potential. The character was kind of cute but I wasn't that interested in him. 3***

Benny Chan: Benny's acting has pretty stopped improving but I'm not sure if it's because of the repetitive roles/dramas he keeps getting in which he's not able to unleash his full potential or it's because this is all he has to offer. I like how Benny is the most realistic character of the three though since he's not completely good or evil. He can be annoying but you can't really hate him. 3***

Halina Tam: I like how Halina received a larger role in here and for the most part, I thought she was a good villain. Not a breakthrough role but she was enjoyable to watch. Her character is pitiful but I think she took the whole revenge thing against Timothy Chen's character too "seriously". 4****

Stephen Au: He was a pleasure to watch in here and I like how he wasn't typecast as a villain in here. 4****

Nancy Wu: She was convincing as a brainwashed "disciple" to Halina since she really did seem like a robot. I wanted to see more of a softer Nancy though. 4****

Auguste Kwan: I haven't seen him for awhile and I thought he improved. 2**

Charmaine Li: I'm starting to take a liking to Charmaine; she was cute in here. 3***

Sherming Yiu: I haven't seen her since "Catch Me Now" so it was a nice surprise to see her in here. I think she has potential but sadly, she never gets larger roles. 3***

Chan Hoi Yee: I haven't seen her for awhile and I thought she has gotten a lot prettier. I think she is better at "evil" roles since she acted pretty natural. 3***

Linda+Sunny: It was kind of weird that they both started to like each other near the end but they were an okay couple. I like their wedding scene but it was weird how they didn't stayed married...even though it kind of made sense that they didn't...TVB is weird. 2**

Linda+Benny: It was kind of surprising to see Benny liking Linda since I thought he was kind of a "playboy" since he initially liked Chan Hoi Yee because of her looks. They were a lot cuter in "The Biter Bitten". 1*

Stephen+Nancy: Their love story was heartbreaking. 3***

Auguste+Charmaine: They looked adorable together. 4****

Auguste+Sherming: They didn't have that many scenes together. 3***

Ending song by Linda Chung: The best song sang by Linda. 5*****

Whatever It Takes

A watchable fantasy/mythical drama but it is also easily forgettable.

Benny Chan: Not my favorite role of his but he did a decent job. 4****

Annie Man: She's really cute/lovable in here. This is also one of the few dramas that she was the main actress. 5*****

Tavia Yeung: She's gorgeous in here and her role was also really sad/pitiful. 4****

A Pillow Case of Mystery

This is Annie Man’s last drama (for now) since she hasn’t done anything new after this, which is a shame. There is a new twist to crime-solving dramas and it was okay since TVB brought a lighthearted touch to solving crimes. The cases were sometimes easily solved but the process of finding out who the murderer(s) were are interesting.

Bobby Au Yeung: 5*****

Kenix Kwok: 5*****

Benny Chan: 5*****

The Biter Bitten

This is Michael Tong's last TVB drama (for now) and although I'm glad he's getting better treatment outside TVB, it's still sad that he's not with TVB anymore. TBB is a better drama than I have expected but it's still easily forgettable. The title makes no sense whatsoever and it has nothing to do with the plot.

Benny Chan: He was likable since he was so clever. 5*****

Linda Chung: I didn't really like her in here but she wasn't a pain to watch. 3***

Michael Tong: He was so funny in here! 5*****

Shirley Yeung: This is one of her better roles since I actually started to like her after this drama. She's so funny and cute in here. 3***

Benny+Linda: They had a lot of cute scenes together and their characters were meant to be together. 4****

Michael+Shirley: They are a cute couple too but it was kind of random that they started to like each other. Maybe they found out they had a lot of similarities after working together to try to break up Benny and Linda, lol. 4****

Benny+Shirley: I actually wanted them to end up together since they make a funny pair. 4****

Michael+Linda: I felt bad for Michael's character but they don't fit together in terms of looks or chemistry. 3***

Themesong by Shirley Yeung: I like it and I look forward to hear more of Shirley's singing. 4****

A Change of Destiny

I was going to skip this too through to its weak cast but some people liked it so I decided to give it a try. It was an okay drama; nothing too special. Some of the scenes were boring.

Steven Ma: He was funny and he, along with Yuen Wah, saved this drama. 5*****

Benny Chan: Not a very likable role and I never knew when the turning point was for his evilness. I thought he did better in other roles. 3***

Shirley Yeung: One of her better roles and she's improving. 3***

Selena Li: A very pitiful character and she's improving too. 3***

Mimi Lo: I loved her character in the beginning but she became boring and annoying when she fell in love with Benny. 3***

Steven+Shirley: They were cute together but when did Steven started to love Shirley; it was out of nowhere. 4****

Benny+Selena: They were cute but I don't get what the rave was all about. 3***

Benny+Mimi: It was awkward, forced, and one-sided. 2**

Themesong by Steven Ma and Joel Chan: Very catching and nice to listen to. 5*****

Rating: 2** I would only watch it again for Steven and Yuen Wah.
