A Watchdog's Tale

Initially, I was going to skip AWT because the plot doesn't sound that interesting but I decided to give it a try because I like the cast. AWT is a lighthearted and comedic drama that exceeded my expectations. Although AWT is not a must watch drama, it served its purpose as an enjoyable TVB drama to watch.

Steven Ma: His character is so loud, vulgar, and perverted but he has a heart of gold. A different role for Steven and I thought he did a good job. His signature curly hair and blue flip flops were hilarious to watch in here. 5*****

Linda Chung: She was cute as a tomboy but it wasn't a breakthrough role for Linda. She did a good job but she didn't have to show a lot of emotions and comedic skills in here. 4****

Kent Cheng: I like how his character has flaws in here since he was stubborn in accepting Maggie's love and Steven's love for Linda. This is the first drama where I thought he was okay to watch. 4****

Maggie Siu: She was hilarious to watch in here as a woman with extreme OCD. She's great in comedies. 5*****

Raymond Wong: He's so cute and he's quickly becoming one of my favorite actors. His acting has been improving so much every time I seen him in a new drama. 5*****

Natalie Tong: I didn't think she was all that important in here other than to be a love interest for Raymond but she did a good job with the limited character that she received. 5*****

Koni Lui: She really needs to get bigger roles since her character was pretty undeveloped in here. She didn't really get a chance to show off her acting skills since she was pretty much just sex appeal in here, which is such a waste of her talents. 3***

Steven+Linda: They are quickly becoming one of my favorite couples to watch since they have chemistry and are so natural in their couple scenes. A lot of people like Linda better with Raymond Lam but I think Steven brings the best out of Linda's acting, which makes sense because even Linda had admitted in falling in love for Steven when they acted together in "Virtues of Harmony II". I love how it's so easy for them to show that they are a couple in here even if they are just small things like from hugging to holding hands. Their "accidental" kisses were also both funny and cute. 5*****

Steven+Queenie Chu: They didn't have that many scenes together but they look okay together. 3***

Kent+Maggie: I thought Maggie's character could do better but their acting made up for it. 3***

Raymond+Natalie: They look good together but their relationship was so underdeveloped. I wouldn't mind seeing them as a couple again though. 4****

Koni+Lee Kwok Lun: Although they have a huge age gap and height difference, they were actually nice to watch in here. 3***

Kent+Steven+Linda: This is their second collaboration after the success of "A Journey Called Life" and I wouldn't mind seeing Steven and Linda in the same drama again but I can do without Kent. 3***
