You're Hired

I have only seen Dayo Wong in "To Catch the Uncatchable" and I wasn't too impressed so I was iffy on whether or not to watch this drama. I heard pretty good reviews and I haven't watched Charmaine Sheh in awhile so I decide to give this a try. YH is a lot better than I expected since it made me laugh and all the characters were so likable.

Dayo Wong: I really like him in here and his character was so funny, smart, and unpredictable. It was hilarious seeing him wear the same outfit over and over again (the "trash bag" coat!). This is definitely my favorite Dayo's role and drama up to date. 5*****

Charmaine Sheh: I love her outfits in here; Charmaine has a really good fashion sense! She pretty much had a different outfit on every time she was onscreen and she looks gorgeous in here. She was really likable as a loud debt collector. 5*****

Teresa Lee: I haven't seen her act since her role as Guo Xiang in "The Return of the Condor Heroes 1995". She pretty much looks the same and she was okay in here. She nailed the innocent and confused look down. 4****

Michael Tse: An interesting but already portrayed role for Michael. He looks pretty young when compared to Queenie Chu in here, even though he is older than Queenie in real life. 5*****

Power Chan: His character was funny as the greedy brother. 5*****

Mandy Cho: She has improved a lot and she looks really pretty in here. 4****

Dayo+Charmaine: There weren't a lot of scenes of them as a couple but their bickering was really fun to watch. 4****

Dayo+Teresa+Koni Lui+JJ Jia: This "foursome" cracked me up! Dayo looked the best with Charmaine though. 3***

Charmaine+Joel Chan: It seemed to me like Charmaine liked Joel more in the beginning and then Joel liked Charmaine more in the end. They weren't compatible in terms of personality though, which is why they wouldn't work out as a couple. 3***

Teresa+Cheung Kwok Keung: There were barely any scenes of them together so I couldn't tell if they were a nice couple or not. 3***

Power+Mandy: They actually made a pretty funny couple. 4****

Benz Hui+Koni Lui+JJ Jia: Their storyline was really fun to watch, even though it was kind of disturbing to see two young women fall for an old man. I thought Koni Lui would have a bigger role though since she's featured on the poster but her character is barely in here. 3***

Themesong by Dayo Wong: I like the beat but not so much the singing. 3***
