Meteor Garden II

I have heard so many people say how bad this sequel is but my curiosity got the better of me and I had to watch this to get a better closure. This is probably the worst mistake I have ever done and I don't even know how I was able to watch all of the episodes. The only parts worth watching are probably the beginning and the ending because the middle was full of nonsense and draggy love square scenes. I think the ending to this was even worst than the first one so do yourself a favor and just skip this drama entirely.

Barbie Hsu: I thought she did a lot better in her emotional scenes since she pretty much had to cry in every single episode. I felt so sad for her character that I just wanted her to end up with Vic so she would stop getting hurt over and over again. 5*****

Jerry Yan: He also did a better job since he successfully portrayed a nice, poor, memory-less man. I was so frustrated with his character though. 5*****

Vic Zhou: He consistently gave another good portrayal of Hanazawa Rui that I wished he would just end up with somebody! 5*****

Ken Zhu: He had a bigger role in here but it was still sad that he ended up with no one. 3***

Vanness Wu: His role also got bigger and it was nice to see him end up with somebody. 3***

Michelle Saram: Her acting was such a pain to watch, especially when she laughs! She's not really pretty so I don't get why she always portrays a beautiful woman in every drama she's in. 1*

Barbie+Jerry: Their scenes together in the beginning were extremely cute so I wished they would have had more scenes together throughout the drama since it was sad to see them apart. 4****

Barbie+Vic: It was so hard to choose who should have ended up with Barbie... 4****

Jerry+Michelle: A horrible couple... 1*

Vanness+Pace Wu: They were okay; their relationship was kind of weird though. 3***

OST: The songs by F4 were good. 5*****

Rating: 1* A big disappointment from the first one. If you want to keep "Meteor Garden" as a good drama in your mind, don't watch the sequel!
