These two are the live-action movies of the popular manga and anime of the same name. With all movies, a lot were cut and changed around but they still kept the characters intact. I would still, however, recommend either reading the manga or watching the anime first before watching the movies to get the "complete" feel of DN. Overall, this was not a bad adaptation of DN.Fujiwara Tatsuya: He was the main character in "Battle Royale" and he was okay as Yagami Light. Yagami Light is a pretty hard character to portray since you only truly know him in his head. 4****
Matsuyama Kenichi: He was pretty good as L but something was missing for me. 4****
Toda Erika: She was pretty cute as Amane Misa and she made the character a little bit less annoying for me. 4****

Rating: 4**** The "Death Note" series was made into two movies so you have to watch both. However, "L: Change the World" is optional since it's a spin-off.
