Love Exchange

I had no expectations at all when I started to watch LE because the reviews were pretty bad. I only watched this because I wanted to see Anita Yuen's acting since I have never seen a drama of hers and because she's Julian Cheung's wife. Surprisingly, LE is not the worst drama I have seen but it's also not the greatest either. I think if you come in watching this with little to no expectations, it's actually not that bad of a drama. I know everybody was excited to watch this because of the sales presentation clip and when you compared this to that, they are completely two different dramas. I like watching family problems so it was okay that they took up all the screen time of LE since the whole murder mystery was just a bonus to me since I knew it was going to be weak.

Anita Yuen: I have always wondered what's so great about Anita since she has nice features but she's not drop-dead gorgeous and now I know why. Anita is a really good actress since she made this role believable since I heard her real-life personality is completely opposite from this character's personality. I hope she films more dramas for TVB since I quite like her as an actress. Her character was too unrealistically nice that it can be annoying though. 4****

Michael Miu: He still looks so good for his age. :) I like his character but I still felt something was lacking. 4****

Power Chan: I'm glad he's getting larger roles since I think he's a good actor but he's been typecasted as a bad guy lately. 4****

Crystal Tin: I think this is Crystal's first evil role and she was convincing. I like how she's taking on different characters. I felt bad for her character but she was the one to cause it. 4****

Tracy Yip: She's improving but she's still stiff in some scenes. Her role was so weak and stupid in love that it was annoying. I heard she just got "frozen" from TVB for having too many bad rumors and it's kind of sad though since I find her more tolerable to watch than some other actresses. 3***

Mandy Cho: It was a surprise to see her in here since her last drama was "War and Destiny". Her acting/looks have gotten better too but her character was so underdeveloped. 3***

Anita+Michael: I didn't think this couple would work but they proved me wrong with their actings. I enjoyed their cute scenes together but too bad, they didn't end up together. However, I think it's more realistic this way. 4****
