Steven Ma: He is really lovable and just an overall nice person. Although Steven has played these kinds of characters before, I never get bored watching him on-screen since he always brings the characters to life. 5*****
Linda Chung: A breakthrough role since I didn't think Linda could portray such a vulgar and controversial character! I think she should have won the Most Improved Award for this role instead for the one in "Always Ready" (although I didn't watch that...). I thought she did a good job in "Heart of Greed" but this role definitely proves to me that she has potential to be a fantastic actress. However, I thought she was kind of out of character after becoming a "good girl" but she shone at the end again. 5*****
Kent Cheng: I honestly don't like him as an actor since I don't really see any acting in him. His character was okay since he was sort of funny in some of the scenes but I didn't really care for him or his role in here. 3***
Fala Chen: It's kind of sad that Fala is always portraying this kind of role but I guess it's because she does a pretty good job at it. I still don't really like her as an actress but I rather watch her than Kate Tsui. Her character is really evil but I felt bad for at the end since it's human nature to be vain and greedy. 4****
Raymond Cho: I think he's really under-promoted as an actor but I didn't really like his role in here and his acting wasn't too great. He and Fala are the same kind of characters: too greedy for money. 3***
Elaine Yiu: She really surprised me in here! Another breakthrough role since she wasn't a pain to watch. After watching her in here, I feel she has potential to be an actress since she improved so much! Her character was stupid but I felt pity for her. 4****
Stephen Wong: His acting is getting better but he is still too stiff and wooden in some scenes. I like his character since he was so geeky that it was cute. 3***
Steven+Linda: They're cute together but sadly, there weren't a lot of scenes of them together as a couple so their chemistry was lessen when compared to their roles in "Virtues of Harmony II". I would like to see them as a couple again in another drama. 4****
Fala+Raymond: They looked awkward and weird together in the beginning but they grew on me as AJCL progresses. There weren't really any chemistry between them because half the time, I wasn't even sure if Fala even liked him but I guess it's because she loves money the most. 2**
Stephen+Helena Wong: I thought they fitted together in terms of looks but their relationship got kind of weird after they slept together. It's also sad that Stephen didn't really marry Helena because of love but rather responsibility but I guess he grew to love her after their marriage. 3***
Themesong by Steven Ma and Linda Chung: I didn't really like it the first time I heard it but it grew on me after watching the themevideo a few times. It matches well with the theme of this drama. 4****
Rating: 4**** A lot better than I thought so I would watch this again.
